NeoBerlin is where the city’s most skilled stylists pull off not just head-turning looks, but a place to feel good.
Opposite the swooping arches of U Eberswalder Straße, NeoBerlin swung open its doors in February 2007. Here, the vibrant veins of Prenzlauer Berg meet to form the art district’s heart. A hotbed of inspiration—where to this day we create individual hairstyles to match the ever-changing faces of Berlin. Bending the norms of what hairdressing should be, NeoBerlin is a top-rated hair salon where your transformation and haircare rituals feel safe, sumptuous and laid-back. Our founder, Anja Meister, opened the salon with nothing short of bold ambitions. Her vision for NeoBerlin was to create a hair heaven, minus the halo, for anyone looking to get their mane tamed, unleashed or wholly reinvented. In this spirit, we continue to soak and soap up the city—its street style, its subcultures, its contradictions—and let Berlin write itself into every cut and color.

Hairdressing uses resources. Hair products leave a footprint. At NeoBerlin, we don’t ignore that. Here are some of the steps we take to reduce our ecological footprint:
We get the most out of your hair—all of it. The locks you shed are donated to HAIR HELP the Oceans, where human hair is used to filter pollutants like oil, gasoline and sunscreen from our oceans, lakes and rivers.
We cherry-pick our partners and products. We source our products from evohair and Leonor Greyl, two independent and sustainable family-owned brands that unite salon-quality haircare with doing the right thing.
We share what we know with you. We take pride in our craft and grace you with not just your best hairdo, but also the knacks of using hair- and planet-friendly products to keep your style and color in shape.
We do not claim to be perfect. Our quest to create glorious hair and hues means we use a lot of resources, and yes, even the best products leave a footprint. So we listen, adjust and improve. One day at a time.
